About Euclid Creek
Euclid Creek drains 22 square miles of suburban Cleveland into Lake Erie at the Euclid Creek Reservation. The lower mile through the metropark holds steelhead in the prime runs; the upper reaches above the I-90 crossing are too tight for productive fishing. Small water by SHA standards but a legitimate option when the larger Cleveland-area tribs are blown out.
October through April with fall and spring peaks. Small water -- bring short rods and walk-and-stalk gear. Clears within 24 hours of a rise.
