These skinny pencil-style drop shot weights are a versatile addition to any Great Lakes angler's tackle box, excelling in light-current river situations where finesse presentations are needed for steelhead and trout holding near bottom structure. The V-shaped eyelet allows quick weight changes without retying — a huge advantage when dialing in depth along rocky seams or tailouts. The swivel head minimizes line twist during drift presentations, and the streamlined profile helps slip through cobble and gravel bottom common in tributary steelhead rivers.
